Sepoy Rahul Bhairu Sulagekarattained martyrdom in an unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan Army along the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati sector, District Rajouri (J&K) on 08 Nov 2019.

           Sepoy Rahul Bhairu Sulagekar aged 21 years belonged to Village – Uchagaon, Tehsil - Belgavi, District – Belgavi, Karnataka and is survived by his mother, Smt Geeta.

 A wreath laying ceremony with full military honours organised at Air Force Station, Jammu. Brig Vikrant Kulkarni, Offg Station Commander, Jammu and other dignitaries laid wreath and paid tributes. Wreaths were laid on behalf of the GOC, White Jnight Corps and other military authorities.

            Sepoy Rahul Bhairu Sulagekarwas a brave, highly motivated and sincere soldier. The Nation will always remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.
